Have eaten lunch here a lot over the years and never been disappointed so far. I like the variety of crockery, food is good and so is the service.
A very nice traditional English tea shop which also does a very good full English breakfast. Very popular. Certainly well worth a visit.
Fantastic place for a bite to eat and refreshments. Historic building with wooden beams and low ceilings, nooks and crannies and quaint rear outdoor seating area all full of character.The look and feel fits matches perfectly to a visit to historic Battle, especially the Abbey and visitor centre.Plenty of outdoor seating at the front of the building when the weather is fine (read summer months).Good range of food including earlier full breakfasts, gluten-free, dairy-free and vegetarian options.Enjoyable visit by a group of us, looked after well by friendly staff.
