Food always good, staff always very friendly. Parking can be a little hit and miss (caused more by idiots in sports cars than anything else) - recommended.
Excellent little country pub in the heart of Sussex's area of outstanding natural beauty. Run by local landlords, the pub is obviously the heart of the village and locals and new faces alike are treated to a warm welcome. Food is sourced locally and cooked fresh by a chef that has been with the pub for many years. Delightful open fires warm the space in the winter creating a cosy atmosphere, while the summer months can be spent in the beautiful newly landscaped garden, with a cracking view. All in all a great hidden gem that will keep you coming back time and time again.
