Love this place. A friendly family run business that makes you feel welcome. Facilities have always been clean when ever were on site.

Lovely secluded Campsite. Natural landscape makes for a great peaceful setting and only 15 mins from Hastings, or 5 minutes from Battle meaning there is plenty to do and see. It's not a loud and annoying like other camp sites and feels nice and isolated when you are inside. There is a passing railway line, but it's not obtrusive and does not run at night. Facilities are simple but tidy with a great countryside feel.

Enjoyed a really nice quiet night camping with the family having visited Battle nearby. Good laid back atmosphere, moderate facilities, nice little play area. Would return for an overnight stay.

The owner would not let us on site, as our van was a 'commercial vehicle'. It's not of course, it's a campervan but it has no window. He admitted he had plenty of space and despite us being very complimentary about his site that we had spent a long time choosing, he made no concessions for us and could not even raise a smile, being very surly and miserable. What a terrible advert for the countryside around Hastings. In the end, we found another campsite a few miles away where the staff were absolutely lovely and welcomed us with open arms.Faith restored!

This was a very last minute trip and hadn't read anything about this campsite. We had a very warm greeting from the owner who gave us a clear overview of the facilities and was reasonably knowledgeable of the local area. The campsite itself is located right in the heart of the countryside which have some beautiful walks (sadly we only had time for the one short walk). It has electric hook up for caravans and spaces to pitch tents and a freezer block for your ice packs. There is a toilet block with hot showers (which are free to use) and a place for washing up. The only downside was it was very close to a railway line (one train an hour I think) and dogs were allowed but this was totally or fault for not doing the research.
