I have been very lucky to have been given a number of items from this lovely shop over the last few years. The stock is interesting and there is choice in different price ranges. The staff are always very helpful and generous with time; nothing is too much trouble. I would recommend Friar House to anyone who loves antique/vintage jewellery.
After a very long search for the perfect ring after we got engaged, I finally stumbled upon this gem of a place online and saw my dream ring on their website. I immediately phoned and had a great chat with the very knowledgeable Victoria . The following morning we decided (though only having seen it online) that it was 'The one'. Victoria went above and beyond and had my ring sized that day and on its way to us in Ireland. Although initially the thought of making such a big purchase online seems daunting...Victoria made the process so easy, enjoyable and exciting. Her knowledge, professionalism was so reassuring and her dedication to us as customers in answering all questions and sizing and send the ring so fast was amazing, she truly went above and beyond. I watched my rings journey with great excitement via the tracking number and today it arrived. The photographs of my ring online were stunning but when we opened that box we were blown away by it's beauty, exceeding all our expectations. I cannot thank Victoria enough. When you have a shop that sell beautiful jewellery and staff that are really knowledgable about the items they are selling it gives you confidence in making a purchase. This is the second time I have used friar house and Im sure it wont be the last. I dealt with Catherine from start to finish. Always returning email and phone calls quickly and politely.
